Unsolicited SPAM from Social Stance Media offering to let us “group buy” into a social media influencer’s followers.

We continue to receive group buy SPAM and haven’t been able to validate any of the previous group buys have gone ahead. It still seems odd to be buying followers. I also wonder if the followers would know their information was being passed onto other companies (as promoted) and if would actually meet SPAM or privacy compliance.

Over the last two weeks we’ve started to receive mass SPAM to entire domains from Paul Ross and citizens-dividend.org.

Each email has come from a new Gmail address. They are using the Sendgrid service to send the emails and track clicks. Best to just delete the emails and consider a keyword block to deal with future SPAM.

You report abuse to Google (for the Gmail addresses being used) and also report abuse to Sendgrid. It is worth doing this as with enough reports the accounts are shut down.
